On September 10, Clouded Leopard Entertainment released a demo for the party game 'Prinny Party: Going Overboard!' on Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store. Developed by Nippon Ichi Software, the game is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5.
The demo includes a standard-difficulty "Standard Demo" and an ultra-high difficulty "Extreme Demo" mode that is not available in the full release. In the Standard Demo, players can select a playable character from Warrior, Archer, Ninja, and Prinny. Up to four players can play together, and GameShare on Nintendo Switch 2 is also supported.
Players first cooperate to defeat bosses before competing against each other for victory. In the Extreme Demo, only Prinny can be used, offering a higher difficulty level than the Standard Demo.
Information regarding the full game's "Board Game Assembly" was also revealed. Players can submit bills that create favorable situations for themselves, sabotage other players, or affect the stage. The more Assembly funds available, the higher the chance a bill will pass, with the final outcome decided by a majority vote among council members.
The board features various spaces, including Plus spaces that boost stats, Minus spaces, Event spaces, Enemy spaces, Build spaces, Warp spaces, and Start spaces. On Build spaces, players can construct various facilities such as general stores, hospitals, and cannons, with repeated construction of the same facility raising its tier.
'Prinny Party: Going Overboard!' is scheduled for release on November 12. It supports 1 to 4 players and features Korean subtitle support.
