Digital Touch announced on the 10th that it has released Koei Tecmo Games' historical simulation game 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV with Power-Up Kit Complete Edition'.
'Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV with Power-Up Kit Complete Edition' is a title that adds various new elements to 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV', which was released in 2020. It is available on Windows (Steam), PlayStation 5/4, and Nintendo Switch.
The game depicts the Chinese continent as a detailed collection of "land" tiles and combines domestic affairs, combat, diplomacy, and stratagems into land management and territorial expansion. It adopts a "simultaneous plotting system" where factions move at the same time and a "single-map ruler system" where gameplay takes place on a single map, placing supply lines and intuitive color-painting territorial struggles at the core of its strategy.
More than 1,000 officers feature over 150 unique traits, accompanied by scenarios and events covering multiple eras from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to Zhuge Liang's Northern Expeditions.
This Complete Edition includes "Military Situation," which features information-driven psychological warfare; "Merit" and "Policies," which support officer development and faction enhancement; and "Scenic Spots" and "Literature," allowing players to experience China's famous locations and culture. Additionally, it adds "Heavenly Timing," "Hireable Officers," "Expert Mode," over 70 new historical events, more than 25 achievement events, as well as new traits, scenarios, and ancient officers.
