Gyeonggi Game Meister High School announced on September 8 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CodeCore Games to foster talent tailored to the gaming industry and promote industry-academia cooperation.
Under the agreement, CodeCore Games has become the first company to move into Gyeonggi Game Meister High School's Industry-Academia Hall. The school and the company plan to maintain continuous interaction in the shared space, providing students with opportunities to experience a real game development environment and corporate workplace up close.
Both institutions will cooperate on practical training tailored to the gaming industry, game development projects, corporate site visits and job training, career and placement support, and operating a curriculum that reflects industry demands.
Gyeonggi Game Meister High School offers practical, hands-on education across various game development fields, including programming, game design, and art. With CodeCore Games moving in, the school aims to establish an ongoing collaboration system and expand the scope of cooperation through student projects, practical field experience, and career and placement support.
