NC has released a special video to celebrate crossing 80,000 combined global followers for its subculture RPG 'Astrae Oratio'.
NC expressed its gratitude for players' support through the game's official channels and presented a Shorts video featuring in-game character Sakuba Yuki. Yuki is introduced as the star employee of Cafe Ichigo who calls herself a samurai. Originally a drifter, she was taken in by Ichigo's master, and her innocent, diligent attitude allowed her to quickly blend into the shop. However, due to her energetic and high-spirited personality, she frequently bumps into things or trips, lightheartedly depicted as leaving no plates intact in the cafe. The video introduces Yuki as a "former Shinsengumi member, current cafe employee, and secretly a lycanthrope."
This news was delivered as part of the official SNS management utilizing the concept of the Public Relations Division of the "Special District Office," a core setting in the game's lore. 'Astrae Oratio' is a Shindenki subculture RPG centered around magic and administration, developed by Dynamis One. The title translates to "Prayer of the Stars" in Latin, and is set in a familiar yet unfamiliar Tokyo during the period when Tokyo Tower was being completed.
Meanwhile, NC has been recruiting participants for the closed beta test (CBT) of 'Astrae Oratio' since August 19. Applications are accepted on the official game website until noon on September 21, and selected users will be able to play the test version on mobile environments including Android and iOS.
