Krafton announced on September 9 that it is introducing the new themed mode "Bloodhunt" through the September update for PUBG MOBILE.
"Bloodhunt" is a themed mode based on a vampire concept. Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry, and Gatka in Erangel will be transformed into vampire-occupied zones, while Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base will be operated as indoor PvP zones for the Hunter Guild. On the transformed battlefield, players can complete Hunter Guild missions such as restoring seals and hunting vampires.
The limited-time content "Bloodline Awakening" is also being added. In this mode, players join the vampire faction after dying to continue fighting, with up to 20 players participating simultaneously. It combines survival, pursuit, and faction-based combat.
New battlefield missions are being introduced to Classic Mode. Acquiring a mission item while looting in Erangel activates a mini-mission. Weapon balance has also been adjusted, reducing the recoil of the ACE32 and increasing its damage from 46 to 47. Firing stability for 7.62mm rifles, including the AKM, M762, Honey Badger, MK47, and Groza, has also been improved.
A new vehicle, the inflatable boat, which can seat up to four players, has also been added. Its movement speed increases with more occupants, making it useful for water travel and team tactics. In the Card Collection system, an upgradable JS9 skin that can grow up to Level 5 is included as this year's collection reward.
Seasonal events will open sequentially. The Chuseok check-in and play event will run from September 19 to 29, while the Chuseok Hot Time event will take place from September 24 to 26. During the Hot Time event, logging in during evening peak hours awards up to 35 Chicken Medals.
An Asian Games cheering event will run from September 25 to 30. Completing play missions will reward players with the "2026 Asian Games South Korea Esports National Team Uniform" skin, along with a commemorative profile and frame. The Autumn Sports Day event will take place twice, from October 9 to 11 and from October 23 to 25, offering outfit skins, Chicken Medals, and Fortune Coins as rewards.
