On Wednesday, September 9, SOL: enchant (hereafter SOL) rolled out an update featuring the addition of the GENESIS Grace Equipment Enhancement Scroll and a Potential Holy Water extraction feature. Along with this, improvements to Physical Defense efficiency, buffs to Legendary Spirits, and adjustments to Nine Core drop rates in certain hunting grounds were also implemented. Let’s take a look at the changes brought by this patch and the newly released packages.
Addition of GENESIS Grace Equipment Enhancement Scroll
First off, the 'GENESIS Grace Equipment Enhancement Scroll' has been added. This scroll is a special enhancement scroll that can be used on weapons or armor at +4 or higher, and the item will not be destroyed even if enhancement fails. Since players can attempt further enhancements without the burden of gear destruction, it is well worth aiming to upgrade the specs of key equipment currently in use.
However, players should note that it can only be used once per piece of equipment. Equipment that has used a Grace Equipment Enhancement Scroll will display a history marker via its enhancement level color and detailed info screen, and this marking remains even when listed on the Exchange. Gear that has already had a scroll used on it cannot be registered for public purchase, and a separate notification pop-up will appear when purchasing it from the Exchange. If you plan to buy equipment for enhancement purposes, it is recommended to check whether a scroll has already been used on it.
The scroll can be purchased once per account by characters level 50 or higher at the Nine Shop for 100,000 Nine. Purchases are available until maintenance on Wednesday, September 16, but the expiration time for usage is until 07:00 on Wednesday, September 23. Since the purchase window and usage window differ, securing the scroll in advance is recommended even if you haven't decided on which gear to use it on yet.

Potential Holy Water Extraction Feature Added!
A feature allowing players to transfer previously used Potential Holy Water to another character has also been added. Accessible via the 'Extract' button in the character status window, using the new item 'Superior Reset Holy Water' resets all invested stats and refunds the used Potential Holy Water back as item form.
Since Potential Holy Water is a growth resource with limited acquisition methods, being able to recover Holy Water invested in an existing character is significant. The developer notes also introduced this feature as a way to reduce the burden of trying new classes and reallocating stats. However, as it not only refunds the Potential Holy Water but also resets all invested stats, players will need to reallocate their stats after extraction.
Superior Reset Holy Water can be purchased twice per account in the Nine Shop for 300,000 Nine until maintenance on Wednesday, September 23. In the Mileage Shop, it can be purchased twice per month per server for 50,000 Mileage. Since the purchase window using Nine is limited, Inheritors planning to use the extraction feature should make sure not to miss the event period.

Physical Defense Improvements! Damage Reduction Effect Added
A patch was also applied to boost the efficiency of Physical Defense during farming. Starting with this update, for Physical Defense levels of 100 or higher, an additional +1 PvE Damage Reduction is applied for every 10 Physical Defense. According to the developer notes, this adjustment aims to complement areas where the perceived effect of defense in existing PvE environments was low.
Previously, securing additional defense made little noticeble difference depending on the hunting ground, but players can now gain PvE Damage Reduction at specific thresholds. Inheritors with Physical Defense of 100 or higher may want to check if they can reach the next increment of 10 through gear, collections, and other means.
Note, however, that this effect is applied directly within the damage formula and is not separately displayed in the character stat window. Keep in mind that even if the PvE Damage Reduction figure in detailed stats does not change after raising defense, the effect is still applied.

Early-Game Hunting Ground Drop Rates Nerfed, Higher-Level Region Farming Expanded
Changes have also been made to Nine Core and equipment enhancement scroll drops in the Calteon region. Nine Core drop rates were reduced in areas from Medena Forest to Orc Settlement and their corresponding dungeons, while Orc monsters on floors 1–3 of Razka Shaman Grounds were changed to drop Nine Cores instead.
Equipment Enhancement Scroll (Sacred) drop rates were lowered on Floor 1 of Dungeon of Despair, while Guardian monsters on floors 1–3 of Grana Sanctuary now drop them instead. While this is a disappointing adjustment for Inheritors farming key resources in early-game areas, they can now target these items in higher-level regions as well.
This change is expected to alter the farming efficiency of existing low-level hunting grounds and the reward value of higher-level ones. However, as specific drop rates were not disclosed, how much this will affect the overall supply or market price of Nine Cores remains to be seen through Exchange trends.

Accessory Enhancement Cap Increased & Legendary Spirits Buffed
The maximum enhancement tier for accessories has been expanded from the previous +5 up to +9. Accessories will not be destroyed upon enhancement failure, but starting beyond +5, the enhancement level can decrease. While players can aim for additional stats, they must consider the risk of losing existing enhancement levels on failure.
A bulk accessory enhancement feature was also added, and the crafting limit for Accessory Enhancement Scrolls (Bound) obtained via GENESIS Spec-Up Crafting increased from 50 to 100 times per account weekly. This event crafting is available until 07:00 on Wednesday, September 23.
In addition, base stats for Legendary Spirits have been buffed. Across the board, the EXP Gain Increase option was raised from 25% to 30%, while stats such as Accuracy, Damage, and Max HP were further adjusted according to each Spirit's characteristics.
For Baltaros, Accuracy and Damage increased from 4 to 5 each; for Kalbak, Max HP doubled from 500 to 1,000 and Physical Defense rose from 3 to 4. For Ragna, Accuracy increased from 5 to 8, and for Black Ragna, Damage Reduction rose from 2 to 5. As combat-related stats were boosted alongside EXP, this is expected to assist the growth and farming of Inheritors who possess Legendary Spirits.

20 New Collections & Sky Island Teleport Stones Added
20 new 'Beginner' collections have been added. Registering all 4 PvE Accuracy collections grants PvE Accuracy +4, and other options useful for farming—such as HP Potion Recovery Amount, MP Recovery Amount, PvE Damage, and PvE Damage Reduction—are also included. All new collections are Unbound collections, so Inheritors lacking accuracy or sustain should check the required collection materials starting with the options they need.
A new craft recipe to create 'Divine Seal' using tokens acquired from hunting ground monster kill achievements was also added. If you have leftover achievement tokens after registering collections, you now have an additional use for them.
In Sky Island, dungeon teleport stones that allow travel to each zone have appeared. After selecting materials for a desired zone from the 'Sealed Dungeon Teleport Stone Selection Box (Sky Island)' dropped by bosses Gwint of the Sky and Drake of the Sky, players can craft the dungeon teleport stone for that zone. Completed teleport stones can be used inside Sky Island starting at level 50 and cannot be stored in warehouse or traded.
Along with this, Sky Island's Twilight Region and Dawn Region were renamed Zone 5 and Zone 6, respectively. As the names of related Hunter's Tokens and achievements were updated accordingly, Sky Island zone names have been unified into Zones 1–6.

New Events & Limited-Time Packages Released
Along with this patch, the 'Healing Forest' event has also begun. Players can defeat monsters in the event dungeon to acquire various rewards until maintenance on Wednesday, September 23. An event allowing players to craft 7 types of dungeon recharge stones is also underway, and this crafting event is available until maintenance on Wednesday, September 30.
As for new limited-time products, the 55,000 won 'Special +3 El's Bracelet Package' and the 33,000 won 'Blessed Growth Package' have been released. Both packages can be purchased until maintenance on Wednesday, September 16.
The Special +3 El's Bracelet Package consists of five +3 El's Bracelet Selection Boxes (Bound), 20 Special Summon Ticket Selection Boxes (Bound), and 2,000 Diamonds, and can be purchased up to four times per account. Since it allows players to secure multiple enhanced bracelets, Inheritors needing further enhancement or bracelet collections may want to consider purchasing it.
The Blessed Growth Package offers 10 Calteon Spec-Up Scrolls, 10 Special Summon Ticket Selection Boxes (Bound), five Blessed Growth Selection Boxes, and 1,200 Diamonds, and can be purchased up to eight times per account. From the Blessed Growth Selection Box, players can select one among Star Shard, Trait Stone, or Research Stone, so players can utilize it according to their character's growth needs.
