T1 wrapped up the series. On the 6th, T1 defeated Dplus KIA 3-1 in set score in Round 3 of the 2026 LCK Playoffs Lower Bracket held at Chzzk LoL Park. Although falling behind early in Game 4, T1 turned the game around by winning consecutive late-game teamfights.
T1 drafted a Kalista and Renata bot lane pairing to apply pressure right from the laning phase. Things did not go according to plan. The match started on the wrong foot as they conceded a laning kill to the duo of 'Smash' Shin Geum-jae and 'Career' Oh Hyeong-seok. As Dplus KIA's bot lane ramped up the pressure, T1 responded with a lane swap.
Capitalizing on their bottom-lane priority, Dplus KIA took down the outer tower first. T1 sought to gain advantages through the lane swap process as they did in previous sets, but finding gains this time was not easy. Although they succeeded in picking off Jax first in a fight in front of the Rift Herald, they immediately suffered losses after allowing a counterattack. Dplus KIA continued to pull ahead bit by bit in subsequent fights, solidifying their control.
Dplus KIA attempted to force fights by baiting the enemy around objectives. T1 refused to engage. They bided their time while buying time for their damage dealers to scale, and the opportunity for a counterstrike was created by the Kalista-Renata duo of 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan and 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok. Turning the tables on the pursuing enemies, they eliminated the opposing damage dealers first, and T1 won this teamfight decisively, securing Baron as well.
With momentum building behind their dive composition, T1 began initiating teamfights more aggressively. In front of the dragon at the 27-minute mark, they baited out key enemy abilities before opening a fight and emerging victorious. This battle expanded the gold lead to 7,000, and T1 pushed straight ahead to destroy the Nexus.
With this victory, T1 secured the 3rd seed for the 2026 World Championship and will continue their playoff run at the KSPO Dome. Dplus KIA finalized the 4th seed, finishing 4th overall in the LCK.
