ACDC defeated Young Thirties 4-1 to claim victory in 'Ja-Nat-Dae 26: StarCraft with CHZZK (hereinafter S-Nat-Dae)'.
Enchant hosted the S-Nat-Dae finals at COEX Atrium today (6th). With ACDC (Kim Seong-hyun - Head Coach, Agu - P, Flame - Z, DDaHyoNi - P, HumanJelly - Z) having advanced directly to the finals in 1st place, Young Thirties (SuperNova - Head Coach, Crank - P, Jungryungwang - P, Sowroop - T, Ssangbe - T) defeated DoPungRunnerMango (Maengdeok Eomma - Head Coach, Dopa - P, Gosudal - T, Runner - P, Sopungwanni - P) 3-0 to face ACDC in the final showdown.
Young Thirties vowed to win against ACDC, who had shown overwhelming dominance during the full round-robin. However, after dropping a point in just 3 minutes to HumanJelly's 4 Pool in Set 1, they suffered back-to-back losses in the Tier C and Tier B matches, pushing them to the brink of a sweep. Crank then secured a PvP victory in the Tier A showdown with a bold proxy Gateway and precise Zealot micro, but DDaHyoNi carried both Set 2 and Set 5 with Carriers to lock up the championship for ACDC.

In Set 2 held on Polypoid, the builds diverged between DDaHyoNi's bold fast double expansion and Sowroop's 1 Barracks 1 Factory build. Although Sowroop was slightly late on scouting, he harassed DDaHyoNi fiercely with Vultures. Distracted by the Vultures, DDaHyoNi lost a Dragoon that strayed into Bunker range during a counter-harass, while other Dragoons took damage from Spider Mines, opening up a vulnerability. Capitalizing on this, Sowroop boldly advanced with a bionic-mechanic composition, quickly whittling down the Dragoon count before pulling back to gain an advantage. Having lost numerous Dragoons to Sowroop's harassment, DDaHyoNi found little success with his pocket Dark Templar and instead constructed two Stargates and a Fleet Beacon to transition to Carriers. While DDaHyoNi's ground army suffered a major defeat against Sowroop's timing attack following relentless Vulture harassment, DDaHyoNi used the resources accumulated from his quickly established natural expansion to build 4 Carriers and counterattack. Having delayed Goliath production and range upgrades while preparing the ground timing push, Sowroop lost most of the Tanks he had advanced to the natural expansion and was forced to retreat. When Sowroop used Vultures to harass expansions in order to buy time to mass Goliaths, DDaHyoNi counter-attacked Sowroop's main base and expansions with 6 Carriers. Sowroop attempted to defend with Goliaths and Missile Turrets, but the Carriers entered the main base before the Turrets were completed, darting back and forth along the high ground edges to pick off Goliaths one by one. Sowroop scraped together as many Goliaths as possible for a last stand, but failed to bring down even a single Carrier from DDaHyoNi's fleet of 8 and called GG.

In Set 3 on Fighting Spirit, Jungryungwang went for a fast proxy two Gateways and even built a Shield Battery at Flame's natural expansion, rapidly destroying the expansion and pushing into the main base. However, as soon as Flame spotted Zealots at his natural, he immediately built two Sunken Colonies in his main base to defend, while using stockpiled Zerglings to strike Jungryungwang's main base, killing a large number of Probes and opening up a resource gap. While Jungryungwang was paralyzed between the Zergling harassment and Sunken Colony defense, Flame accumulated Hydralisks off a two-Hatchery build in his main base to push back Jungryungwang's Zealots. Jungryungwang built a Forge and tried to defend against the Hydralisk push by erecting Photon Cannons, but was overwhelmed by Flame's well-timed assault before the Cannons could finish constructing, putting ACDC on match point at 3-0.

In the PvP matchup played on Eclipse, Crank placed a gambit with a fast Pylon constructed below the opponent's natural geyser and a proxy two Gateways. Spotting the proxy Gateways, Agu reacted by building two Gateways and a Shield Battery. A battle that looked even turned on Crank's bold placement of two Shield Batteries inside the opponent's main base. With Agu's Zealots hesitating as their movement path was restricted by the enemy Shield Batteries blocking the Gateway exit, Crank used precise Zealot micro and shield recharges from his two Batteries to win the engagement and claim a point.

In Set 5 played on Fighting Spirit, DDaHyoNi, who had opened with a fast double expansion in Set 2, caught his opponent off guard this time with a 9/9 proxy Gateway. Sowroop failed to scout it, but managed to block his ramp with two Supply Depots and a Barracks to stop the Zealots from entering. DDaHyoNi then transitioned into a Photon Cannon rush. When the Supply Depot broke under Photon Cannon fire, Sowroop pulled some SCVs to resist and lost them, but created a defensive line inside his main base with a Bunker and Supply Depot to halt the Zealots' advance. Though short on workers and struggling financially, Sowroop bought breathing room by repelling the Zealots inside his main base with Tanks and Vultures. However, because he upgraded Spider Mines before Siege Mode, clearing out the Photon Cannons took extra time. While Sowroop systematically cleared the Photon Cannons, DDaHyoNi secured his natural expansion and raised a Templar Archives to prepare his next tech step. After building his own natural expansion, Sowroop scouted and harassed with Mine-upgraded Vultures. However, an overaggressive poke into DDaHyoNi's natural defended by Photon Cannons cost Sowroop Vultures for little gain. DDaHyoNi expanded to three Photon Cannons at his natural to deny Vulture run-bys, then put up two Stargates and a Fleet Beacon to pivot into Carriers. With Vulture harassment blocked, Sowroop checked DDaHyoNi's tech with ComSat Scans and attempted to harass expansions with small forces, but the attempt fizzled when he lost a Tank to a stationary Dark Templar. Sowroop massed as many Goliaths as possible and finished their range upgrade, quickly tearing through the Carriers' Interceptors unlike in Set 2. He tried to harass simultaneously with a Vulture drop, but achieved little due to Photon Cannons guarding the 9 o'clock expansion. Although his Interceptors were lost, DDaHyoNi's Carriers themselves remained intact and moved to harass Sowroop's natural expansion once more. However, taking direct damage from Sowroop's sizable Goliath army, DDaHyoNi was forced to temporarily retreat as his Carrier fleet shrank from 8 to 6. Retreating from the natural expansion, DDaHyoNi regrouped and utilized the Carriers' mobility and micro control to ultimately destroy Sowroop's natural expansion. Sowroop then attempted to secure a 5 o'clock expansion for gas and additional Goliaths, but DDaHyoNi—safely running his main base and two expansions—amassed a massive fleet of 11 Carriers to overpower the Goliath army, sealing the championship victory for ACDC.
