Dplus KIA turned the tables in Game 2. On September 6 at Chzzk LoL PARK, Dplus KIA defeated T1 in Game 2 of Lower Bracket Round 3 in the 2026 LCK Playoffs, tying the series score at 1-1. After falling heavily behind in a 12-minute teamfight, they turned the game around through Baron fights.
Early on, mid lane favored Dplus KIA. Heo "ShowMaker" Su's Ryze got ahead in the laning phase, secured a kill with help from his jungler, and added a solo kill to solidify mid lane priority. However, as Dplus KIA's top and bottom laners repeatedly gave up kills, the burden on Ryze grew even heavier.
Neither team backed down in front of the Dragon pit at the 12-minute mark. Biding their time, T1 targeted Dplus KIA's jungler first, and Jarvan IV collapsed under the firepower. The teamfight was decided right then and there. T1 won the engagement decisively to take control of the game.
However, T1 made a mistake while in the lead. Mel was caught out while applying pressure in mid lane, and Jayce, who tried to assist, was also eliminated. Coinciding with the Dragon spawn, the loss became even greater. Dplus KIA gained breathing room from this teamfight and subsequently created continuous opportunities in the side lanes using Ashe's and Ryze's ultimates.
Fights repeatedly revolved around Ryze. When Ashe's ultimate opened the engage, Ryze's firepower backed it up. Choi "Lucid" Yong-hyeok's Jarvan IV targeted Anivia at key moments, creating a void in T1's damage output. As this exact strategy paid off once more in a Baron fight, Dplus KIA successfully completed the comeback.
