In Game 4, KT Rolster drew first blood by catching out Choi 'Lucid' Yong-hyeok's Vi as he invaded their jungle. However, Dplus KIA held a clear advantage in pure laning matchups, gradually expanding their lead by staying ahead in CS. The bot lane went a step further, shattering the balance of the lane by securing a double kill off a gank from Vi.
Dplus KIA picked off Lee 'PerfecT' Seung-min's Gwen with a top dive from Heo 'ShowMaker' Su's Annie, but KT Rolster answered back as their mid-jungle quickly collapsed to shut down Annie. A subsequent Dragon teamfight resulted in a 2-for-2 kill trade. For a trailing KT Rolster, these repeated trades were a welcome sign.
However, Dplus KIA's bot duo proved to be too much to handle. In a top-lane engagement, Oh 'Career' Hyeong-seok's Neeko landed Pop Blossom, perfectly setting up Shin 'Smash' Geum-jae's Miss Fortune to rain down Bullet Time in a brilliant combination that yielded one-sided kills. The gold deficit quickly blew past 7,000 gold. KT Rolster's desperate, sneaky Baron attempt was also spotted by a Scuttle Crab and came to nothing.
KT Rolster caught a brief breath of fresh air by jumping on Dplus KIA as they pressured top lane, sweeping up 4 kills. From Dplus KIA's perspective, failing to execute their composition's primary strength—AOE ultimate combos—was a misstep. Nonetheless, Dplus KIA still held a massive lead in growth, and in a structured teamfight in front of the Dragon pit, they claimed a decisive victory without upset and secured the Baron.
Empowered by the Baron buff, Dplus KIA resumed pressuring every lane. The slowly chipped-down inhibitor towers fell one after another, leading to the destruction of both the mid and bot inhibitors. Ultimately, Dplus KIA forced a final battle in front of the last remaining top inhibitor, scoring an Ace to put an end to the series.
