BNK FearX 'Light' Kim Seon-jae defeated kt Rolster 'UTA' Lee Ji-hwan with a set score of 3-1 at the 2026 FSL Summer Final Stage held at Jamsil DN Colosseum on August 30, successfully advancing to the Grand Finals.

In the 44th minute, 'UTA' scored the opening goal with Ronaldo through a central breakthrough to take a 1-0 lead. He then added another goal almost immediately in the second half to widen the gap to 2-0, before 'Light' scored his first goal to begin the pursuit at 1-2. After both players scored once more to make it 3-2 in favor of 'UTA', 'UTA' sealed the game with an insurance goal to win Set 1 4-2.

In Set 2, 'Light' managed to score first. 'UTA' equalized in the 35th minute when Ronaldo headed home a cross. However, 'Light' scored again to take a 2-1 lead. 'UTA' patiently built up passes and tied the game at 2-2 with another central breakthrough by Ronaldo, and after each player added one more goal, the match went into extra time at 3-3. Still deadlocked at 4-4 after extra time, the set went to a penalty shootout, where 'Light' emerged victorious to tie the overall score at 1-1.

Set 3 was tightly contested. Although neither player created many opportunities, 'Light' scored three goals on five shots, while 'UTA' scored one goal on four shots, giving 'Light' a 3-1 victory to take a 2-1 lead in set score. In Set 4, 'Light' gained further momentum while 'UTA' faltered. Early in the first half of Set 4, 'Light' scored two quick goals. Still, 'UTA' pulled one back in the 19th minute to start his comeback effort at 1-2.

'UTA' continued to pursue and finally equalized in the 75th minute to revive his chances. 'Light' now needed another goal to seal the victory. The match went into extra time, where 'Light' successfully scored to win 3-2, defeating 'UTA' with a set score of 3-1 to advance to the Grand Finals.
