Smilegate announced on Wednesday, August 26, that it has unveiled the brand page and promotional video (PV) for its new title, 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' (developer Ian Games).

The newly unveiled brand page serves as the official hub providing a wide range of information on 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames'. Visitors can check various game-related details at a glance, including pre-registration info, the PV, soundtrack, and game and character introductions.

The game's PV, revealed for the first time on the brand page, depicts protagonist Soji Enishiro exorcising his younger sister after she turns into a ghost account, acquiring the spiritual power 'Omnipotence', and transferring to Miden Academy. It builds anticipation for the game by portraying his story as he fights alongside his companions at Miden Academy to banish ghost accounts.

The accompanying OST serves as the official theme song for 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames', capturing the desperate emotions of protagonist Soji Enishiro, who endured a cruel reality like a living ghost and yearns to reclaim his pure original self. Haru Igarashi, who participated in the OST for the anime adaptation that began airing in Japan in January, wrote, composed, and performed the track.

Smilegate also revealed new rewards based on cumulative pre-registration milestones. Players who participate in pre-registration will receive the SSR-rank character Kiyomi Urusugawa, along with a profile frame and title. For every 100,000 pre-registrants reached up to a total of 500,000, participants can receive 10 Character Summon Tickets. Additionally, sharing pre-registration news on social media grants extra Character Summon Tickets and stamina.

'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' is a team roguelite game based on the original manga 'Dead Account', combining character collection and progression elements. It aims to capture the core appeal of the source material by faithfully reflecting its story and world. The game is currently in development as a cross-platform title for mobile and STOVE (PC).

Meanwhile, the original manga 'Dead Account' began serialization in 2023 and is written by Shizumu Watanabe, known for works such as 'Real Account' and 'Trick Dedicated to the Witch'. The story follows protagonist Soji Enishiro, who transfers to Miden Academy to fight alongside his companions and exorcise ghost accounts resurrected through the digitalization of deceased people's social media accounts. Reflecting modern social themes and featuring thrilling battle action, the work has garnered significant attention, particularly among younger readers.
