Riot Games' strategy game Teamfight Tactics (TFT) launched its new set, 'Enchanted Wilds,' today (26th).

'Enchanted Wilds' is the first set in which Riot Games applies Unreal Engine to TFT, released as a version refined after gathering feedback on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) for about a month. Unreal Engine has been applied to select content for this release, with further updates planned post-launch. TFT Mobile will sequentially update to the Unreal Engine version following the PC update.

Players can encounter the new 'Wisps' mechanic every two shop rerolls. Wisps support players with one-time combat effects, experience points, and other benefits, offering powerful late-game effects that help turn the tides. In addition, players can experience a variety of nature-themed traits, including ▲ 'Riftbeast,' where jungle monsters like the 'Elder Dragon' appear as units, and ▲ 'Sprykin,' which summons a 'giant furry friend' and lets units ride atop it.

Additionally, starting Thursday, the 27th, players can enjoy cosmetic elements such as 'Prestige Chibi Immortal Journey Shyvana,' which features an in-game transformation system.

A nationwide amateur tournament based on the new set will also take place. Registration for the 'World-Class National Amateur Tournament,' hosted by LEVELUP.GG, is open through the official LEVELUP.GG website until today (26th). Following qualifiers on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, the top eight players will compete for a total prize pool of 10 million won in the finals on Saturday, September 5. The first- and second-place players will receive prize money along with a spot on Day 3 of the professional tournament, 'Tactician's Trial.'
