Devolver Digital announced that 'Stick It to the Stickman', a physics-based brawler developed by Free Lives, will officially launch on September 23. This comes about one year after entering Early Access last year.
Developer Free Lives stated, "It is time to leverage our raised funds for a new business leap," inviting both existing and new shareholders to the corporate bloodshed.
'Stick It to the Stickman' is a physics-based brawler where players fight their way to the top job by defeating red stickman employees. The goal is to combine desired moves out of hundreds of choices to craft your own combat style and earn promotions toward the peak of the organizational chart. Beyond basic punches and kicks, players can utilize slicing, burning, explosions, staple guns, fireballs, jackhammers, and chainsaws.
Players can play solo or alongside a 'colleague'. There is only one thing to keep in mind — every red stickman defeated is one step closer to a promotion.
The 1.0 update adds two new modes, 'Neurolink' and '[REDACTED]', concluding the grand story revolving around the Founder, shareholders, and the fate of the world. In the 'Foreign Manufacturing' section, two new archetypes—the Ninja and Negotiator—have been added along with new passives, bosses, and level segments.
Ahead of its official release, Stick It to the Stickman is currently on sale. As the price will slightly increase with the launch of 1.0, Free Lives added, "Buying at this time is wise financial advice". The title supports Korean, and further details can be found on its Steam page and Devolver Digital Korea's official X account.
