'Crimson Desert', developed and published by Pearl Abyss, has gone on sale with a 20% discount for the first time.

On August 25, Pearl Abyss announced through its official website that 'Crimson Desert' is on sale across all platforms. The promotion runs until September 10 KST, with a 20% discount applied.

As a result, the Standard Edition is reduced from 79,800 won to 63,840 won, while the Deluxe Edition is reduced from 92,800 won to 74,240 won.

Released on March 20, 'Crimson Desert' follows the journey of Kliff, leader of the Greymane Mercenaries, as he adventures across the continent of Pywel. Although the game received some negative reviews at launch, continuous updates have successfully turned public opinion positive.

Meanwhile, Pearl Abyss plans to release DLC within the year. The studio added that work is currently underway to revise the story, which had been noted as somewhat lacking compared to the vast open world and outstanding action gameplay.
