Smilegate announced on Friday, August 21 that the character pre-creation event for its upcoming MMORPG 'Eclipse: The Awakening' (developed by Npixel, hereinafter 'Eclipse'), set for official launch on September 10, ended in great success.

The first character pre-creation event, which began at noon on August 19, saw all 24 servers reach capacity in about 25 minutes. In particular, some servers in 'Hescalion', where streamers are participating, filled up in just one minute, proving intense interest from players. Reflecting player enthusiasm, Smilegate significantly expanded capacity for character creation and held a second pre-creation phase on August 20, which also reached capacity within a single day.

The pre-registration event is also making smooth progress, surpassing 300,000 cumulative sign-ups. Smilegate is distributing milestone rewards to all players who pre-register. Upon reaching 500,000 pre-registrations, players will receive five 'Weapon Appearance Summon Tickets IV', and at 700,000 pre-registrations, an additional five 'Transcendence Summon Tickets IV' will be provided. Smilegate plans to expand player engagement through various events leading up to the official launch.
