IKEA, widely known as a Swedish furniture manufacturer, is drawing attention after announcing a collaboration with Xbox.
On August 19, IKEA released a short teaser video on its official Instagram page hinting at a collaboration with Xbox. The video piqued curiosity by showing silhouettes of furniture inspired by Xbox controller buttons and thumbsticks. Alongside the video release, both companies added that they are jointly producing special furniture and home goods for video game fans.
This is not Xbox's first venture into home products. In 2021, the company sold a compact refrigerator modeled after the Xbox Series X named the 'Xbox Mini Fridge' on its official website. Attention is now focused on what kind of furniture will emerge from this partnership with IKEA.
The results of the collaboration with IKEA are set to be revealed at Gamescom 2026.
