Wemade (CEO Park Kwan-ho) updated its MMORPG "Legend of Ymir" today (20th) with new PvP (player vs. player) content, "Arena Ranked Match."

"Arena Ranked Match" is seasonal competitive content where players earn points based on the results of 3v3 battles to climb leagues and tiers. The first season runs for eight weeks, starting today through October 15. Players receive their initial rank and tier after completing five placement matches, after which they compete for rankings against other players.

Matches are decided by wiping out the opposing team or by having more surviving members when time runs out. The arena operates every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to midnight, with three free entry tickets provided daily. Additional tickets can be earned by completing daily quests, missions, and achievements.

Abundant rewards are distributed based on performance, including PvP-specialized items such as "Seals of Duel" and the exclusive currency "Tokens of Duel." "Tokens of Duel" can be exchanged for key items like "Legendary Equipment Material Chest I" and "Master's Parchment." In addition, Wemade has prepared various events to support players' rapid progression.

First, the hunting event "Dew at Summer's End" is underway. Players can hunt monsters in the Hall of Valkyrie, Temple of Chaos, and Folkvangr to obtain crafting materials "Red, Yellow, and Blue Dew." These can be used to craft "Sigrun's Memory Fragments," which can be collected and exchanged for legendary-grade Valkyries, Disir, Horns, and more.

The "Sigurd's Hidden Gift Box" event is also being held, allowing players to obtain items such as "Noble Hero Horn" and "Master's Parchment" using the in-game currency, Silver.

A "Returning Warrior 30-Day Check-in Event" has also been prepared for players who have not logged into the game for 7 days or more. Depending on the number of check-in days, powerful items that support returning players are rewarded, including the "+10 Regin Full Equipment Set Package" and "Hero Valkyrie Selection Chest."

Starting August 27, various benefits will be offered through the "14-Day Challenge Check-in Event." An event will also launch where players can craft runes using materials gathered from hunting or gathering, register them into their collection, and boost their stats.
