Smilegate announced on Thursday, August 20, that 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' (hereinafter CZN), a dark fantasy roguelike RPG published by Smilegate and developed by Super Creative, has updated its new Galactic Disaster Season 4 story, 'The Black Panther Left Uncared For,' alongside new content.
'The Black Panther Left Uncared For' is the second story of Galactic Disaster Season 4. Players can experience the dangerous incidents that unfold as the main party accepts an invitation from the infamous mercenary group 'Black Spica' and steps aboard the luxurious ark, 'SS Deneb.' Players can play through the new story and Season 4 Chaos to acquire currency, which can be exchanged at the Supply Store for various items, including 'Omega Code,' a material for Combatant Ego Manifestation (Limit Break).
Key figures in the story, 'Arabella' and 'Licinia,' have been added as a Combatant and a Partner, respectively. Arabella is the leader of Black Spica, possessing the alluring charm of a dangerous femme fatale. She specializes in accumulating damage by inflicting 'Fracture,' which deals damage to enemies at the end of a turn. As a Seasonal Combatant, Arabella can only be obtained for a limited time through September 9. Licinia is a Partner character who increases her assigned Combatant's Critical Chance whenever they inflict Fracture.
Additionally, the first half of 'The Great Rift,' a competitive ranking mode between players, has opened, alongside updates such as automatic record saving and new Amplified Effects. The 'Save Data Download System' has also been newly introduced. Players can acquire save data containing equipment and cards tailored to each Combatant's characteristics for free or via purchase, significantly shortening character development time.
A new season has also begun for 'Total War,' a combat mode played with 3 teams, and the 'Clear Composition' system has been introduced, allowing players to view team loadouts of high-scoring players in Total War.
A variety of events are also underway to celebrate the new story and Combatant update. First, the 'Primal Desire' event running through September 9 allows players to interrogate specific figures alongside Arabella to receive various items. Additionally, the second week of the 'Beach Cafe' event, where players can enjoy special summer stories featuring Combatants, has also begun.
