JAG UmTi: "We know how Kuzan was secretly the boosted animal in the Spring Split."

On July 23rd (KST), Jin Air Green Wings started a winning streak after swiftly defeating ROX Tigers in the second match of 35th day of 2017 LCK Summer Split. Sunghyuk "Kuzan" Lee and Sunghyeon "UmTi" Um were named as the MVP of Game 1 and 2 respectively, and they were interviewed on air by SpoTV after the match.

The interview started with Kuzan expressing happiness on how they won the match 2-0 just as he wanted to.

After expressing how he felt he was in "top shape for everything" and how he confidently got a solo kill in Game 1, he told the viewers how he used to play poorly in the early split, but started to grow more confident as the split went by.

The interview moved on to UmTi as he was named as the MVP of Game 2.

As soon as he appeared on stage, UmTi immediately showed regret over how the game "should have ended 20 minutes earlier if we weren't caught twice that time."

Game 2 lasted over 50 minutes and players started take drastic measures to end the game, which lead to Teddy selling boots for Trinity Force. UmTi revealed how chaotic the team voice was at that time. "The situation was very hectic, then Teddy suddenly blurted out how he was going to sell the boots for Trinity Force, so we just went 'Uh...Okay?'"

As the interview moved on from the match and to the team in general, the two MVPs had a chance to talk honestly about each other. Kuzan, however, might have been too honest.

"UmTi used to play terribly during the Spring Split, but I'm happy now that he became 'KingTi'." Kuzan said.

UmTi quickly retalitated. "I admit that I played poorly during the Spring Split, but we know how Kuzan was secretly the boosted animal. I'm disappointed. Why don't we try praising each other, hyung?"

Just like that, the short battle of words ended as the players praised each other. "Our dear UmTi is the best." "I thought Kuzan was one of the best at lane even during the spring split. Since I'm a jungler who likes to 'use' the laner, I think Kuzan is a good laner for me."

The players wrapped up the interview as they promised that they'll do their best to end the split at fifth by winning all the remaining matches.
