On August 19, Kakao Games (co-CEOs Kim Tae-hwan and Lee Si-woo) announced an update for the popular game 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby,' developed by Cygames (CEO Koichi Watanabe). The update introduces a new story event, 'Illuminating the Sky, Dreamy Night Parade,' along with new playable Uma Musume and the 'Gray Week' campaign, which offers various benefits.

The update adds '[Radiant☆Fortune-Bringing Outfit] Copano Rickey' and '[Luminous☆Twirler] Smart Falcon.' Both characters appear in the 'Illuminating the Sky, Dreamy Night Parade' story event, showcasing special outfits inspired by a marching band. Additionally, two new support cards have been added: 'SSR [Connect the Parade・Note♪] Transcend' and 'SSR [Luz de ensueño] Buena Vista.'

The 'Illuminating the Sky, Dreamy Night Parade' story event runs from August 19 to August 31, featuring a story centered around a marching band parade. Players can earn event points and roulette coins through training, which can be exchanged for various rewards, including a limited 'SSR Support Card.'

The 'Gray Week' campaign also begins on the same day. During the campaign, players can participate in a special event offering free daily pick-ups, totaling up to 80 free draws. Login bonuses include 500 Jewels and an 'SSR [Gracious PARTY☆] Mejiro McQueen' support card. Other benefits include double training rewards, halved TP consumption, increased win rates in Team Stadium, and boosted intimacy gains.

Furthermore, from August 20 to October 4, 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby' collaboration cafes will operate at ANIPLUS branches in Hapjeong, Seoul, and Seomyeon, Busan. Visitors can enjoy themed drinks and desserts, as well as purchase various merchandise featuring exclusive Korean illustrations.
