NC released an update for Lineage W on Wednesday, August 19. This week's update includes additional improvements to the Warrior class and the introduction of the Colosseum Rank mode.

The Warrior class has received further enhancements, with a total of six Skills buffed: Warrior Gigantic, Warrior Guard, Fury, Fury (Rising), Berserker (Rising), and Vanguard. Warrior Gigantic now grants an additional +2 Physical defense, while Fury and Fury (Rising) have increased HP recovery per second. Berserker (Rising) has an extended duration for collision ignore, and Vanguard now includes a +30% Stun Accuracy effect. Additionally, the Equipment 'Berserker's Guard' has been buffed with +3 Physical defense.

The Colosseum Rank mode has been newly introduced. Colosseum Rank is a 4v4 competitive mode that uses world matching, supporting auto matching without the need to create separate waiting rooms. It is available for Characters level 75 and above, and only individual matching is supported with random arena selection.

Colosseum Rank is available for three hours daily, from 13:00 to 14:00, 18:00 to 19:00, and 22:00 to 23:00, with a limit of three participations per day. Each season lasts for two weeks, with the current season running until the maintenance on Wednesday, September 2.

Various Colosseum Chests are awarded based on match results and contribution. The Colosseum Coins and Tokens obtained from these Chests can be used to purchase various Items or register them in the Collection. Furthermore, players are assigned a Tier ranging from Bronze 3 to Grand Master 1 based on their promotion points. Reaching specific Tiers rewards players with items such as Chance Cards, draw tickets, Stigmata, and Ancient Elixirs. Additionally, ranking buffs are awarded based on leaderboard position rather than Tier; unlike Tiers, these buffs are only provided to the top 100 players.
