The supernatural urban open-world RPG Neverness to Everness (NTE) has launched its major 1.3 update, introducing a variety of summer-themed content and offline events. Developed and serviced by Hotta Studio under Perfect World, Neverness to Everness officially released the 1.3 version, 'Starlight Beyond the Mist,' today (the 19th).
This update introduces 'Zanhong,' a character who has garnered attention for her compelling narrative. The addition of seasonal content, including summer swimsuit costumes and the 'Volley Star' beach volleyball tournament, is drawing significant interest from players.
With the new version update, the limited-time board 'Shadow of Deception' for the S-rank character 'Zanhong' is now live. Players can use this board to earn a limited-edition glider, a livery, and a new exclusive outfit for Zanhong. Notably, players who obtain Zanhong through the board will immediately unlock the exclusive story costume 'Red Hollyhock' at no additional cost. As the first chapter of the main narrative, 'The Scarlet Letter,' concludes, Zanhong's character arc also reaches a turning point. Zanhong, a key figure in the 'Scarlet Letter' organization, previously displayed a unique aura through her hallucination-inducing abilities in the 'Scarlet Mystery' story.
Players can enjoy unique gameplay mechanics, such as using 'Stealth' to evade pursuers while exploring the fields. Additionally, the limited-time research recruitment event 'Allure Special' has opened, significantly increasing the drop rate for the limited S-rank Arc, 'Heart-Eating Blade.' Large-scale summer-themed content is also attracting attention; the new 'Dusk Zone' area offers diverse landscapes to explore and challenging racing trials to conquer.
Events such as the 'Volley Star' beach volleyball mode, the 'Wave Rider' water racing challenge, and 'Shipwreck Treasure Hunt' will open sequentially. Furthermore, the addition of the water-exclusive vehicle 'Tide' enhances the fun of field exploration. In the latter half of the version, players can encounter the new S-rank character 'Rinko' and the returning 'Hotori' through the limited banners 'Sounds of All Things' and 'A Cup of Moonlight.
Expectations are building for a steady stream of content, with the new 'Puka Paradise' theme park set to open in the upcoming 1.4 version. Meanwhile, Neverness to Everness will host an offline summer event called 'PC Bang-cation' from August 21 to 25 at the T1 Base Camp and GGX Internet cafe. Both locations will feature distinct concepts and programs, offering visitors unique experiences through official merchandise sales, special on-site stages, and interactive user events.
Detailed update notes and information regarding offline events can be found on the official website and the Naver Game Lounge for Neverness to Everness.
