Digital Extremes announced the launch of a new themed event, 'Nightwave Mix: Amir's Shockwave,' across all Warframe platforms. The update offers a variety of free rewards, including a six-day text adventure and six community-created cosmetic items.

This new content is based on the 'Nightwave' system, which is inspired by rebel radio DJ broadcasts, allowing players to progress through reward tiers by completing daily and weekly challenges. During the event, users can enjoy special 'Warframe: 1999' themed broadcasts featuring new voice lines recorded by Kevin Afghani, and earn rewards such as the 'Cainshell Atomicycle Regalia Operator/Drifter Suit' and the 'Globak Syandana.' Progress and remaining challenges can be checked via the 'Navigation Console' or 'Radio Scanner' inside the 'Orbiter.'

After completing all 'Hex Quests,' reaching Rank 5 with the 'Hex Syndicate,' and building a 'Close' relationship with the NPC Amir, players can access new permanent content. Players who meet these conditions can access the 'POM-2 Terminal' in their 'Orbiter' to play 'Fable & Frontier: Running Late,' a text adventure that follows a six-day journey of rolling magic dice to face powerful enemies.

Additionally, the revamped 'Holvania Mall' social hub now features Amir's new arcade, 'Holvandaim Highway.' By interacting with Amir, who is focused on ringing bells to set high scores, players can check for new and returning cosmetic item rewards instead of the usual shop inventory.

The update also adds three new in-game tracks. The popular in-game band On-Lyne has released a new song, 'Running Late,' alongside two background music tracks for 'Fable & Frontier: Running Late.'

These three tracks are available to stream on major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and Bandcamp. A variety of new cosmetic items for character customization have also been added.

The in-game shop now features the 'Xiaoshi Collection,' which includes the 'Baruuk Xiaoshi Warframe Skin' for the non-violent warrior Baruuk. Also available are six community-created cosmetic items from the 'TennoGen' program: Erneix's 'Kullervo Ascophilia Warframe Skin,' the 'Harrow Profitas Warframe Skin' by Malaya, Jadie, and Noxxr, Vhynnz's 'Heimadis Operator Mask,' Led2012's 'Oraxia Agamba Warframe Helmet,' Lubox's 'Centurio Signa,' and the 'Aketa Signa' co-created by blazingcobalt and Ritens.
