Another NBA star dove into esports.
Jared Jeffries, a former 'Director of Player Personnel' for the 'Denver Nuggets', was appointed to the position of president for Rick Fox's gaming organization, 'Echo Fox'. Jeffries was with the organization since the 13th of this month, and he had personally met with the players of Echo Fox by visiting 'EVO 2017' in LA.
Jared started his NBA career by being drafted with the 11th overall pick of the 2002 NBA draft by the 'Washington Wizards'. He also played for the 'New York Knicks', 'Houston Rockets', and 'Portland Trailblazers' before his eventual retirement in 2013.
This isn't the first time that the world has seen such a character join the esports scene, as Rick Fox himself is also a former NBA player. We can only expect so much for what Jeffries can bring to the organization.
