According to results confirmed so far, the Notongsu Alliance holds the lead in the total number of castles claimed across all servers. However, in major battlegrounds, The K Alliance captured more castles, leading to a tense standoff between the two coalitions.
First, in Astair, where the main force of The K Alliance transferred, the battle resulted in a 3-castle unification. Facing a gap in numbers, Ddol-kki, leader of the Notongsu Alliance, gathered characters from the Astair server to operate a support squad, but a significant difference in force quality remained.
On the other hand, Paagrio was dominated by the Notongsu Alliance. Although Paagrio was home to the Chong-gun Alliance—another key pillar of The K Alliance—they were outnumbered from the start compared to Notongsu, which rallied reinforcements from multiple servers. Consequently, during clashes fought back and forth between Kent and Windawood, they failed to breach the outer gate. However, by capturing the Oak Fortress right before the siege ended, they managed to prevent a 3-castle unification.
Valakas was originally controlled by the Yeokjeon Alliance, which had joined the Notongsu Alliance. However, right before server transfers closed, the Anti-King Alliance under The K Alliance gathered from various servers and infiltrated Valakas, drastically shaking up the power balance. Cited as the server with today's fiercest back-and-forth battle, the Anti-King Alliance ultimately pulled off a comeback by taking 2 castles.
Ken Rauhel Invasion? This Time It's Our Turn - Astair
The Astair server was where The K Alliance—having lost Ken Rauhel to the Notongsu Alliance's offensive during the height of server transfers—honed their blades and concentrated their full forces. It was also considered the home base for the Free team of Asgorilla within the opposing Notongsu Alliance. Although it was one of Notongsu's key servers, The K Alliance's invasion ultimately succeeded in seizing all 3 castles.
Most of the combat took place at Kent Castle. In the very early phase, the Notongsu Alliance attempted to approach Windawood Castle, but Dangyeol of The K Alliance quickly captured the castle and established defensive lines, promptly shifting the battleground to Kent Castle.
The clash at Kent Castle drew an overwhelming crowd, ranking among the largest siege battles to date, but it did not result in an even 5:5 fight. Combined with the defensive advantage inherent in siege warfare, The K Alliance had its main body concentrated in Astair, enabling them to comfortably intercept enemies from both inside and outside the castle.
The Notongsu Alliance deployed tactics where main forces including Astair's Free team attacked the castle gates, while Ddol-kki—who had scrambled characters from across the server as reinforcements—spread out wide in the rear to prevent allies from being surrounded, but there remained a clear gap in both force quantity and quality.
Failing to find a breakthrough while attacking Kent Castle, the Notongsu Alliance set their sights on Windawood Castle, but this too yielded little success. Returning to Kent Castle to continue fighting, the Notongsu Alliance shifted their target to the Oak Fortress approximately 15 minutes before the end of the siege.
Because the Oak Fortress offers less defensive advantage, a fierce final clash unfolded between the two sides. The Notongsu Alliance broke through The K Alliance's Guardian Tower defense to imprint, only for The K Alliance to immediately reclaim it in a repeating cycle. About 4 minutes before the end, the Notongsu Alliance successfully took the fortress and erected a barricade wall extending outside the main gate, but during this time, the north gate was breached. Ultimately, with about 1 minute remaining, The K Alliance recaptured the Oak Fortress once again, leaving all 3 castles on Astair in the hands of The K Alliance.
A Clear Power Gap - Paagrio
Compared to the other two hotbed servers highlighted today, Paagrio showed a relatively large disparity in strength. In particular, as members of Jeontu Myeong-ga transferred en masse from the Depardieu server—which had been the home base of the Notongsu Alliance—the balance tilted heavily.
The K Alliance initially attempted to assault Windawood Castle before switching targets to Kent Castle to continue field battles, but they were unable to breach the Notongsu Alliance's outer gate barricade.
As combat dragged on in front of the castle gate, Jeontu Myeong-ga repeatedly pincer-attacked from both flanks to intercept them. Despite being outnumbered, the Chong-gun Alliance fought tenaciously to hold on, but with no sign of the outer gate breaking, morale gradually waned.
Ultimately, with about 5 minutes left in the siege, The K Alliance pivoted toward the Oak Fortress. Fortunately, this strategy paid off. Upon noticing The K Alliance's movement, the Notongsu Alliance pursued them, leading to engagements inside the Oak Fortress, but The K Alliance successfully held the imprint to prevent a 3-castle unification.
The Anti-King's Counterattack: Pure Thrill! - Valakas
Valakas saw the most intense clash during the August 9 siege. Against the Yeokjeon Alliance (Notongsu) that originally held the castle, The K Alliance's Anti-King Alliance gathered from multiple servers alongside existing local anti-king forces, escalating the battle. In fact, this siege proceeded without either side gaining a decisive edge, trading blows back and forth as ownership of Kent Castle repeatedly changed hands throughout the entire 60-minute duration.
As soon as the siege began, The K Alliance charged through the main gate of Kent Castle and rapidly penetrated the interior, succeeding in capturing the castle in just 7 minutes. However, the joy was short-lived; a mere 3 minutes later, Yeokjeon (Notongsu) tore down Kent Castle's Guardian Tower, reversing ownership once more.
The chaotic brawl continued. Whenever the Notongsu Alliance claimed the castle, The K Alliance immediately reclaimed it. The battle was such a free-for-all that ownership changed every 3 to 4 minutes on average, making the final outcome impossible to predict.
However, past the 30-minute mark of the siege, the pace of ownership changes began to slow. While the fierce fighting persisted, The K Alliance gradually established a stable defense through sequential handoffs of castle ownership.
Even with about 5 minutes remaining, both coalitions were still battling around Kent Castle's Guardian Tower, but in the final showdown, it was The K Alliance that retrieved and claimed the crown from the fallen Guardian Tower. As the outer gate was restored following the ownership transfer, the Notongsu Alliance pounded on Kent Castle's outer gates with about 1 minute remaining before retreating. With this, Valakas saw the long-standing rule of the Yeokjeon Alliance overthrown, resulting in the Anti-King forces securing 2 castles.
