Polish indie game developer Lazy Turtle Games and publisher Polden Publishing announced that they officially released the voice-controlled cooperative fantasy adventure game 'Meowgic' on PC via Steam on the 21st.

In 'Meowgic,' players take on the role of a cat mage, casting spells by speaking directly into their microphone. The game supports solo play, online co-op for up to four players, and online PVP, with full support for Korean interface and subtitles. The domestic Steam retail price is ₩8,400, with a 38% launch discount available until July 27, bringing the price down to ₩5210.
Players travel to floating islands by hot air balloon to recover musical instruments that have vanished from their magic school. The five themed islands—including Egyptian ruins, medieval castles, and mystical forests—are procedurally generated, ensuring a unique layout for every adventure. Players must cross platforms, solve puzzles, battle monsters, and secure loot before returning safely to their balloon. However, all magic affects both allies and enemies alike, leading to unexpected mishaps during cooperation. The game also features unique interactions based on its cat-mage theme, such as having to shout "Meow" into the microphone to revive a fallen teammate.
A key feature of the full release is 'Custom Voice Magic,' which allows players to assign any word or sound as a spell command. Players can freely change the voice commands for each spell, enabling creative setups like shouting "Big Mac" to grow in size or "Barbecue" to set enemies ablaze. Registering multiple spells with similar pronunciations or shouting the wrong command in the heat of the moment can lead to unintended magical effects.
The game also supports character customization, allowing players to freely combine fur colors, patterns, outfits, hats, and magical sigils. Beyond co-op adventures, players can enjoy a 3v3 PVP arena, where they can bring their custom spells from co-op mode to battle against opposing teams.
More information about 'Meowgic' can be found on its Steam store page.
