'FM26' is a title that has undergone massive changes. From the switch to the Unity engine and a complete graphical overhaul to a total redesign of the UI/UX and the addition of women's leagues, it represents the biggest shift in the series' history. The series has continued to evolve since its launch, with months of ongoing updates that have steadily improved its polish and boosted user satisfaction.
This meetup was an opportunity to witness that turnaround firsthand with the fans. On Saturday, July 11, at 4:00 PM, SEGA Publishing Korea hosted the 'Voice of Manager' fan event for 'Football Manager 26 (FM26)' at Gen.G Gaming Xperience (GGX) in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Selected through a pre-registration process, 'FM' fans sat down with the developers and publisher for an event hosted by football commentator and YouTube creator Hwang Deok-yeon. The program featured five segments: 'FM Creator Talk,' 'FM Manager Discussion,' 'FM Quiz,' 'Developer Q&A,' and 'FM World Cup Mode PVP.' It was packed with activities that went beyond just listening to fan feedback, allowing attendees to ask developers questions directly and compete against one another.
As a fan of the FM series, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a chance to meet people who love and enjoy the series just as much as I do, talk about the game, and participate in a Q&A with the developers—giving me even more reasons to love and appreciate FM.
