Nexon announced on the 10th that THE FINALS, a team-based FPS developed by its subsidiary Embark Studios, has launched its massive Season 11: Galaxy Masters update.

This season introduces 'Galaxy Estates,' a new arena featuring a retro-futurism concept inspired by the 1960s American Dream with a space travel theme. Galaxy Estates is a space colony blending suburban residential areas, commercial facilities, and large-scale infrastructure. It features a dense battlefield where narrow urban streets coexist with vast landmarks, alongside dynamic new movement systems such as speed tunnels and anti-gravity zones. In line with the game's concept as a virtual game show, this season offers an even more diverse world following the previous season's medieval fantasy theme.

The CQC system has also been completely overhauled. By adding melee defense and counter-mechanisms, both attackers and defenders now have more opportunities to actively engage in combat during standoffs. Additionally, the introduction of a stamina system—useful for chasing or disengaging from fights—and a precision strike system that deals higher damage upon a successful hit has significantly heightened the intensity of CQC.

Content has also been added to help new users adapt quickly. The new 'Cashout Bot Mode' is designed to allow players to learn the core rules and gameplay mechanics against AI without pressure. This mode follows the same flow as actual matches, and difficulty can be adjusted based on the user's adeptness. Furthermore, playing in Bot Mode allows users to progress through the Battle Pass, career milestones, and other character progression systems.

In addition, various system improvements have been implemented to enhance the overall game environment and user convenience. The respawn system has been improved to be more intuitive and fair, increasing convenience when returning to the battlefield, and the ping system has been expanded with more detail to enable quick and clear communication between teammates. Other changes, such as a revamped rank UI, actively reflect key feedback from the user community.

To celebrate the Season 11 update, Nexon has released a new Battle Pass. The Season 11 Battle Pass includes costumes and emotes themed around space travel, such as astronauts, cutting-edge robots, and aliens. Players can also acquire a variety of cosmetic items, including various sci-fi-designed weapon skins and decorations.
