A new K-Pop-themed game, 'K-POP Rising: Dream to Shine,' developed and published by a French game company, has been unveiled.

On the 3rd, publisher Microids released a 35-second teaser trailer for 'K-POP Rising: Dream to Shine.' The video follows a girl dreaming of becoming a K - Pop idol as she navigates her trainee days and transforms into a dazzling K - Pop star.

In this game, players aim to form their own group and rise to become global K-pop stars with millions of followers. The core gameplay follows a rhythm-based format, where players must hit notes at the right time to execute perfect, synchronized dance routines.

The game also offers diverse Character Customization features and supports a co-op mode where up to three players can perform on stage together.

'K-POP Rising: Dream to Shine' is scheduled for official release on November 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC (Steam). Notably, both the developer, Old Skull Games, and the publisher, Microids, are based in France.
