On July 1, SHUEISHA GAMES announced that 'Wild Wild Eden,' an open world survival craft RPG currently in development by Magnus Games Studio, will launch in Steam Early Access in the spring of 2027. Alongside the official title reveal, the team updated the Steam store page to enable wishlisting and released a video featuring the developers introducing the game.

'Wild Wild Eden' has been in development for approximately three years since it was first unveiled as 'Project Survival (working title)' at BitSummit in July 2023. With its official title now confirmed, the game has been announced with refined game design, visuals, and online play elements.

The game is set on an uncharted planet. Players can explore by climbing mountains and diving into the sea, while also building their own bases. The story begins after the players' home planet is destroyed beyond repair, leading survivors to arrive on this resource-rich, unexplored world.

The game adopts an animation-style aesthetic rather than a realistic one. Another key feature is the high degree of freedom in crafting and base building; players can gather materials to create tools and equipment, and construct bases on most terrain, including atop waterfalls or inside volcanoes. Farming and fishing are also included, and players can even see tamed water slime companions automatically watering their crops.

Players can tame the planet's beasts to ride, fight alongside them, or keep them as companions at their base. Furthermore, a breeding system allows players to cross-breed species to pass on abilities and traits to their offspring, adding an element of repeating the laying and hatching process to obtain creatures with desired stats. Rare color variations can also emerge during this process, and the developers emphasized that they designed these monsters to be companions rather than disposable resources.

The game supports both solo play and online multiplayer, where players can build bases together with friends. It will be available on Steam and will officially support Japanese, English, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), and Korean.
