A new ATS hunting ground, the 'Land of the Forsaken' (hereinafter 'Forsaken Land'), has been added to Lineage Classic. Because it shares the same ATS time as the existing 'Land of the Polluted/Corrupted' (hereinafter 'Polluted Land'/'Corrupted Land'), you cannot use both groups of hunting grounds simultaneously.
The Forsaken Land is accessible only to characters between levels 30 and 50 and can be reached via a teleporter in Oren. Upon arriving at the Oren Snowy Fields, you will find an object called 'Spatial Distortion'; interacting with it will transport you inside. There is also a Internet cafe dungeon, which can be accessed through the Internet cafe dungeon guides in Talking Island and Giran, just like the existing Polluted/Corrupted Lands.
The Forsaken Land differs from the existing Polluted/Corrupted Lands in several ways. First, unlike the others, which have no time limits, the Forsaken Land has an entry time limit, similar to regional event hunting grounds. Your usage time begins to decrease the moment you enter, and even if you use Dwarf Gears to recharge your ATS time, you cannot exceed the 3-hour daily limit.

Furthermore, the entire interior of the Forsaken Land is a 'Combat Zone.' The Polluted/Corrupted Lands are 'No Death Penalty' normal zones, meaning you suffer no penalty if killed by other players, and the PKer receives an alignment penalty. Additionally, you are protected from EXP loss if you die to a monster.
However, the Combat Zone lacks these protections. While there is no EXP penalty for dying to another player, the attacker also receives no alignment penalty. This could lead to players killing those around them to monopolize the area or simply to hunt more comfortably.
Of course, given the 3-hour entry limit, the likelihood of this happening is low. Still, it is better to be safe: when running ATS in the Forsaken Land, it is recommended to monitor your screen or use the Purple app on your phone to check for ATS termination or death notifications.
Another point to note is that you lose EXP if you die to a monster in a Combat Zone. Because Combat Zones are designed for player-versus-player combat, monsters are unaffected by these rules, meaning a death to a monster is treated the same as in a normal zone, resulting in the loss of EXP.

In terms of EXP efficiency, the Forsaken Land performed slightly better than the Corrupted Land, and since the monsters' Attack is not particularly high, potion consumption was not significantly different. In our experiment, using a level 33 Knight with a +6 Damascus Sword and a +4 set (0-enchant Strength Helmet) on the Dethroned server, we compared one hour of hunting in each. The Forsaken Land yielded 1.4966% EXP, while the Corrupted Land yielded 1.4546%.
The Dethroned server is already heavily populated, and at the time of the experiment, massive crowds flocked to try out the new Forsaken Land. Despite the fact that the Knight character spent much more time wandering around unable to attack compared to the Corrupted Land, it still resulted in slightly higher EXP gains. Since ATS hunting efficiency is heavily influenced by population density, it is expected that on servers with fewer players, the Forsaken Land will show an even greater efficiency advantage over the Corrupted Land.
Additionally, all monsters in the Forsaken Land are Undead, making them susceptible to Turn Undead. Since the character used in the experiment was equipped with a +6 Damascus Sword, using a weapon with Undead bonus damage could yield even higher efficiency. Note that all monsters in the Forsaken Land are small, so using a high-enchant Rapier would provide the best hunting efficiency.

Another unique feature is that monsters in the Forsaken Land do not drop Adena. Instead, they drop 'Dull Weapons' that can be sold to the Oren General Merchant for Adena. However, the drop rate for these is very low; some players report not finding a single one after an hour of hunting, and others report only finding a few per hour.
For ATS, this might actually be a positive. During Auto Hunt in the existing Polluted or Corrupted Lands, characters often spend a significant amount of time standing idle on top of Adena that they cannot pick up. The absence of this time-wasting behavior in the Forsaken Land appears to be one of the reasons for its higher hunting efficiency.
There have also been many questions about whether it is better to hunt manually in the Forsaken Land for 3 hours and then run ATS in the Corrupted Land. While this varies by server, on Dethroned, it is not a method I would recommend. The Forsaken Land is so crowded that manually clicking to catch monsters for 3 hours is extremely tedious. Even if you can endure that, the EXP efficiency is not significantly higher, and there are no item drops, so I would recommend using regular hunting grounds if you intend to hunt manually.
