JOYCITY announced on the 5th that its upcoming soccer game, Freestyle Football 2—currently in development by its subsidiary URE—will participate in Steam Next Fest, a showcase event for new titles on the global PC game platform Steam.

Steam Next Fest is a global online event where users can experience demo versions of upcoming games. The event will run from June 16 to June 23 (KST).

Timed to coincide with the global soccer festival season, the demo version will be available for play starting June 10, ahead of the official Steam Next Fest event. Any Steam user can download and enjoy Freestyle Football 2 for free without a separate application process.

Freestyle Football 2 has previously conducted two rounds of Closed Beta Testing (CBT) across consoles, including Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, as well as Steam and the Xbox PC platform. The second PC-exclusive test, in particular, saw a massive influx of global users, necessitating the addition of extra servers to meet the high demand.

Kim Myung-soo, CEO of URE and the project's lead producer, stated, We are thrilled to showcase the appeal of Freestyle Football 2 to a global audience through the Steam Next Fest stage. Building on the gameplay and user feedback validated during our two previous CBTs, we are committed to delivering an even more polished experience.
