The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA), in partnership with Nikkei BP and Sony Music Solutions, unveiled the teaser video, main visual, and first wave of official 'TGS BOOSTERZ' influencers for 'Tokyo Game Show 2026 (hereinafter TGS2026)' today (May 12). TGS2026 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from September 17 to 21, welcoming gaming fans from around the world across a five-day schedule—the longest in event history—to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
Following last year, the main visual for this year was once again created by illustrator Zashikiwarashi, who is beloved for their delicate artistic style. The teaser video released today via the official YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram channels captures a more vibrant and energetic festival atmosphere for the 30th anniversary, with Zashikiwarashi expressing that they poured their deep affection for gaming into this project.
A large-scale giveaway campaign is also underway to celebrate the teaser release. From today through May 31, CESA is running a TGS2026 public day ticket giveaway event on its official X account. To enter, users can follow the official account and quote-repost the designated post with their favorite TGS memories or expectations for the event. Winners selected via a raffle will receive a one-day admission ticket to experience the 30th-anniversary venue in person.
Additionally, the first lineup for 'TGS BOOSTERZ,' the official influencer program designed to broadcast the event's excitement to the world in real time, has been confirmed. With a total of 30 influencers set to participate in honor of the 30th anniversary, the first wave includes globally influential creators such as Ella Freya, best known as the face model for Ashley in 'Resident Evil 4,' alongside Kayane, the Zaki brothers, and Shao Dow. In particular, Ella Freya heightened the anticipation of fans worldwide by sharing her ambition to spread the joy of gaming beyond language and borders through this program.
