Playwith Korea (CEO Kim Hak-jun) announced on the 12th that CEO Kim Hak-jun will purchase 100k shares of company stock to strengthen responsible management and enhance corporate value. This decision reflects the management's strong confidence in the company's future growth and mid-to-long-term vision, while demonstrating a commitment to protecting shareholder value and practicing responsible management.
At its annual general meeting in March, Playwith Korea unveiled a growth strategy centered on three pillars: #1 expanding core IP, #2 innovating development systems, and #3 diversifying platforms and genres. The company is currently accelerating its global licensing business, primarily through its flagship MMORPG IPs 'Rohan Online' and 'Seal Online,' and is leveraging its extensive service experience to strengthen collaborations with global partners to secure new revenue streams.
In the first quarter of this year, the company successfully launched 'Seal M on Cloth,' a new title based on the Seal IP, to expand its market presence. It has also completed the development of a dedicated IP hub site to improve the efficiency of its IP business. Through these initiatives, the company is broadening its reach to global users and maximizing IP value, thereby solidifying a foundation for sustainable growth.
A Playwith Korea representative stated, "The CEO's stock purchase is a promise that the management stands with shareholders in working toward increasing corporate value," adding, "We aim to make 2026 a year of new breakthroughs by ensuring the stable growth of our existing core IPs while expanding our new business ventures and global licensing efforts."
