A new trademark for 'Palworld' has been filed.

On April 24, Pocketpair filed a new trademark for 'PALWORLD ONLINE.' The applicant is Pocketpair, Inc., represented by the patent law firm Wooin, and the application is currently pending examination. The trademark logo is identical to the existing Palworld logo, with the word 'ONLINE' added to the bottom.

Since Palworld currently supports online sessions, including standard multiplayer and dedicated servers, this trademark likely follows a similar context to 'GTA Online.' Alternatively, it may have been filed to distinguish the title from 'Palworld Mobile,' which is currently being developed by Krafton; however, no specific details have been disclosed.

Meanwhile, Palworld previously launched a large-scale collaboration update with Terraria last June. In November, 'Palworld Mobile,' currently under development by Krafton, was unveiled for the first time at G-Star, followed by alpha tests in South Korea and Japan in December. Palworld Mobile is a mobile game based on the 'Palworld' IP from Japanese developer Pocketpair, reimagining the world and core gameplay of the global hit for a mobile environment.
