Neowiz's Round8 Studio is hiring new talent for the development of its upcoming titles. Notably, the studio is also recruiting an 'AI Creator' to handle game graphic production processes using generative AI technology.

According to the job posting, Round8 Studio has begun recruiting for various new projects, including the sequel to 'Lies of P' and new subculture-themed titles. The most distinctive aspect of this recruitment is the aforementioned 'AI Creator' role.
The AI Creator will be part of the Art 2 Division, tasked with building a unique art pipeline that combines artistic creativity with AI-driven productivity. These new hires will use generative AI tools such as Stable Diffusion and Midjourney to create and expand upon concept drafts for characters and backgrounds.
Furthermore, they will be responsible for integrating cutting-edge technologies into existing workflows, including AI-based texturing, modeling assistance via Image-to-3D technology, and training project-specific AI models using LoRA and ControlNet. Additional responsibilities include post-processing tasks—such as inpainting, outpainting, and high-resolution upscaling—to ensure AI-generated assets meet production standards, as well as providing guidance on AI tool usage to in-house artists.
Candidates are required to have a strong fundamental understanding of form, color, and composition. The studio is looking for individuals with excellent prompt engineering and parameter control skills to achieve specific results, as well as proficiency in tools like Stable Diffusion (Automatic1111/ComfyUI), Midjourney, and Photoshop. Preferred qualifications include practical experience in 2D concept art or 3D modeling, experience applying AI resources directly within game engines, and a deep understanding of AI ethics and copyright legal guidelines.
Round8 Studio explicitly stated in the posting that it is looking for candidates who are genuinely passionate about games. The studio included a note politely requesting that those who do not enjoy or play games refrain from applying, emphasizing the importance of sincerity toward the medium. The positions are full-time roles with a three-month probationary period, based at the Neowiz headquarters in Pangyo, with a flexible working hour system.
Round8 Studio is a development division under Neowiz currently composed of six teams, including Team Nough (Lies of P), Team Tabby (Project CF), and Team Foucault (Project Windy). In a related development, Neowiz announced during its earnings call on the 11th that the sequel to 'Lies of P' has passed the prototyping stage and has entered full-scale development.
