On the 11th, Smilegate unveiled a new promotional video (PV) and a 'Chronicles' page for user communication for 'Miraesi: Invisible Future' (hereinafter 'Miraesi'), a new collectible RPG currently under development by Control Nine (co-CEOs Cho Soon-gu and Kwon Se-woong).
The new PV, released via the official YouTube channel, features key characters such as 'Ende,' 'Itsuka,' and 'Tieria' engaged in intense battles against the backdrop of the world's end. By cross-editing scenes of the apocalypse with moments of peaceful daily life, the video visually emphasizes the game's core narrative of 'rewinding time to change fate,' heightening anticipation among users.
The 'Chronicles' page, released alongside the video, is designed to increase transparency in the development process and strengthen communication with users. Here, users can view the project's history, including past event participation such as the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) and the Anime X Game Festival (AGF), as well as future development plans at a glance.
Through 'Chronicles,' Smilegate plans to share records of event and project participation, results of user surveys categorized by field—such as graphics, combat, and characters—as well as interim development reports and updates on how user feedback is being incorporated.
'Miraesi' is the debut title from Control Nine, a studio founded by key developers behind 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' and 'Seven Knights 2.' The project has drawn significant industry attention, particularly with Kim Hyung-seop (Hyulla), an illustrator known for his unique art style in popular subculture games like 'Nikke,' serving as the Art Director (AD).
'Miraesi' is currently in development with a target release for PC and mobile platforms in 2026. Further information can be found on the official website and YouTube channel.
