The free 'Leon Must Die Forever' update for Resident Evil: Requiem was released on the 8th.
Capcom announced the update by uploading the 'Resident Evil: Requiem - Leon Must Die Forever' trailer to its official YouTube channel. This new free update, Leon Must Die Forever, is an extra game mode that highlights Leon's high-octane action. Similar in style to the Mercenaries mode from previous titles, players must defeat waves of enemies within a time limit, upgrade Leon, and face off against a final boss.
The difficulty can be adjusted to suit any playstyle, catering to both casual players looking for exhilarating gunplay and hardcore players seeking to test their survival skills to the limit. The Leon Must Die Forever mode becomes available after clearing the main story.
In addition, the update addresses issues that previously prevented progress under certain conditions, adds DualSense support for PC, and includes several bug fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience.
Resident Evil: Requiem, which received this free update, is the ninth numbered title in the Resident Evil series and follows the story of Grace and Leon. With official sales surpassing 7 million units, the game's success has led Capcom to once again raise its annual earnings forecast for the third quarter of this year.
