Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-gyu) announced on the 8th that its mobile MMORPG 'Blade & Soul Revolution' will undergo a massive update on May 26, including an engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).

Having brought the original game's world to life using Unreal Engine 4 for the past eight years, 'Blade & Soul Revolution' will now offer more vivid graphics and an expanded gaming experience through this engine transition. A full engine replacement for a live mobile game is rare in the industry, reflecting Netmarble's technical ambition and investment in enhancing the game's overall quality.

Netmarble has dubbed this update 'NEXT Blade & Soul Revolution' and launched an official teaser site. The company also plans to host an online showcase on its official YouTube channel on the 13th at 7:00 PM to provide users with detailed information about the update.

Pre-registration for the update is now open on the teaser site.
