Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced that the 2026 summer showcase for its online game 'MapleStory,' titled 'OVERDRIVE,' will take place on June 13. The event will be held at 4:00 PM at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium, where plans for the upcoming large-scale summer update will be unveiled.

Tickets for the live event will be available for purchase on Ticketlink starting May 26 at 8:00 PM. Membership codes required for ticket purchases will be issued starting May 7 to users with characters at level 270 or higher. Attendees will receive a signature ticket and a light stick. Additionally, 100 people will be selected via a raffle for free admission, and the event will be broadcast live at Lotte Cinema locations nationwide. Tickets for the Lotte Cinema screenings will go on sale starting May 27 via their official website and app.

In addition to the showcase, Nexon announced the release of the feature-length animated film 'DEAR MY HERO,' based on the 'MapleStory' universe. The film, which follows the story of 'Aidan,' a new recruit of the Cygnus Knights, will premiere at Lotte Cinema on June 14. Detailed ticketing schedules and event information will be released on the official website on June 5.

Collaboration content with BTS member Jin will also be added. Starting June 14, a new event boss, 'Maple Warrior Jin,' designed by Jin himself, will appear in the game. Players can challenge the boss' various skills to earn rewards such as 'Sol Erda,' 'Sol Erda Fragments,' and new cosmetic items designed by Jin. The development process can be viewed in the third episode of the YouTube series 'Office Warrior Kim Seok-jin Returns.'

A large-scale offline event, 'Henesys Mushroom Park,' will run from May 22 to June 21 at the World Park lawn plaza at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul. The event will feature various attractions, including the 'Henesys Jump King' trampoline challenge, a 'Zombie Mushroom' photo zone, and an art balloon exhibition at Seokchon Lake. Participants who complete missions will have the chance to win prizes such as hotel vouchers, Lotte World passes, and a 'Henesys Resident Registration Card' made of one tael of gold.

Furthermore, fans can find 'MapleStory' merchandise and custom apparel at a pop-up store in Lotte World Mall and through 'UTme!' custom zones at six Uniqlo stores nationwide.
