Hanjin Brion defeated BNK FearX 2-0 in the second round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held on the 7th at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jonggak. With a noticeably improved performance, the team secured its third consecutive win, following its previous victory against KT Rolster.
In Game 1, Hanjin Brion looked sharp from the start. 'Gideon' Kim Min-seong’s Nocturne secured an early lead by catching 'Raptor' Jeon Eo-jin’s Pantheon through a counter-jungle setup. During a dragon team fight, they traded only Nocturne to pick up three kills, seizing control of the game. From then on, Hanjin Brion snowballed their lead by finding kills every time Nocturne’s ultimate was available. Although 'Roamer' Jo Woo-jin’s Ryze was caught out once due to a misplay with his ultimate, it did not lead to any significant damage.
By the 22-minute mark, the gold lead had widened to over 5k. Ahead of Hanjin Brion’s third dragon attempt, BNK FearX managed to pick off 'Namgung' Namgung Seong-hun’s Neeko. However, despite being at a numerical disadvantage, Hanjin Brion aggressively pushed forward, securing a massive victory highlighted by a quadra kill from Nocturne. The fed Nocturne was powerful enough to dive deep into the enemy backline and delete the opposing carries, leading Hanjin Brion to take the first game.
Hanjin Brion also drew first blood in Game 2. 'Gideon's' Trundle ganked the top lane to gift a kill to 'Casting' Shin Min-je’s Jayce. BNK FearX’s 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang kept his team in the game, picking up a double kill with a roam to the bottom lane. Hanjin Brion responded with another top-lane dive, but BNK FearX countered by catching 'Roamer's' Aurora. BNK FearX then took the initiative, breaking the game open by sweeping four kills in a 4v4 team fight without losing a single member.
Hanjin Brion’s hope lay in Jayce, who was growing rapidly in the side lanes. Once Jayce joined the team, they managed to trade kills evenly even in unfavorable fights, and they eventually secured their third dragon after picking off 'Taeyoon' Kim Tae-yoon’s Ashe in the mid lane. BNK FearX tried to regain momentum by taking Baron, but it proved to be a blunder. 'Raptor's' Vi was caught out pointlessly during the initiation, leading to a crushing defeat for his team. Hanjin Brion successfully turned the game around and closed out the series, continuing their winning streak.
