NCSoft released a teaser today (the 7th) for 'Astraea Oratio,' a new game currently under development by Dynamis One.

'Astraea Oratio' is the new project Dynamis One has been developing following the cancellation of Project KV. In January of this year, NCSoft invested in the studio to expand its publishing business, securing the publishing rights. The studio officially began its operations on April 30 by launching an official website and social media channels, introducing the game as a 'New Legend' (Shin-denki) magic RPG centered on magic and administration.

The teaser released today introduces the world and setting of 'Astraea Oratio.' The game is set in 1889 Tokyo, where the pace of development has accelerated beyond historical reality due to magic and other anomalous phenomena. The website mentions landmarks like Tokyo Tower and Odaiba, while the teaser images depict a city closely resembling modern Tokyo, conveying the 'New Legend' genre's blend of modern daily life and the fantastical.

The teaser introduces the player as a chief officer at the Special District Agency and provides key terms related to the world of wizards, offering a glimpse into the setting that lies ahead. With mentions of wizard factions across Tokyo's districts, 'Glacé' (the medium through which wizards cast magic), 'Duel Trials' for resolving disputes, and 'Artifacts' used as weapons, it appears the player will take on the role of a chief officer tasked with mediating conflicts between these factions and confronting a deeper, hidden crisis.
