Hanwha Life Esports defeated DN Supers 2-0 in their 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match, held on the 6th at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno. Both games were slugfests; while DN Supers put up a strong fight, Hanwha Life Esports proved to be the more refined team.
Hanwha Life Esports drew first blood in Game 1. 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok’s Xin Zhao ganked the top lane to take down 'DuDu' Lee Dong-ju’s Renekton. While DN Super traded the first dragon for the Xin Zhao, Hanwha Life Esports caught the Renekton again in the top lane. They also secured two unanswered kills during the second dragon team fight. Despite being behind, DN Super showed flashes of resistance led by 'Clozer' Lee Ju-hyeon’s Ahri, but Hanwha Life Esports consistently came out on top in key exchanges.
Equipped with Titanic Hydra and Eclipse, Xin Zhao demonstrated incredible sustain, turning fights where he was caught out first into victories. 'Zeus' Choi Woo-je’s Gnar also proved why he was ahead in growth with a perfectly timed ultimate. After securing a clean ace and taking Baron, Hanwha Life Esports extended their lead to over 7,000 gold. They later sealed the deal with a decisive team fight victory in the mid lane, pushing forward relentlessly to wipe out the opposition and destroy the Nexus.
In Game 2, DN Super found early success in both the bottom and top lanes. They caught 'Delight' Yoo Hwan-joong’s Milio in a bottom-lane skirmish, and 'DuDu's K'Sante secured a solo kill against 'Zeus' Gnar. However, Hanwha Life Esports struck back immediately, utilizing the ultimates of 'Zeka' Kim Geon-woo’s Twisted Fate and 'Kanavi's Nocturne to pick up kills. The two teams remained locked in a tense battle, trading kills throughout the mid-game.
DN Super, having been pushed to the brink by Hanwha Life Esports' relentless poking, managed to force a 2-for-2 trade through a bold engage. They even managed to pick off the Twisted Fate and secure the Baron. However, they were forced to concede four deaths to Hanwha Life Esports' persistent pursuit. A team fight for the fourth dragon ended in a 4-for-4 trade, and the game was ultimately decided at the Baron pit. DN Super caught the Nocturne and rushed to the Baron, but the main body of Hanwha Life Esports, despite being outnumbered, secured an ace to put an end to the match.
