To celebrate the university festival season in May, Kakao Games is hosting 'Campus Chicken Drop VOL.2,' an offline event for 'PUBG: Battlegrounds,' developed by PUBG Studios. The event was designed to expand user engagement and strengthen communication with Gen Z during the festival period.

The event will be held sequentially at the University of Seoul and Yonsei University to foster closer interaction with Gen Z users. It will feature experiential booths, mission events, and prize giveaways for visitors. In particular, the company plans to encourage on-site participation by offering various rewards, including merchandise featuring Kakao Friends IP and G-Coin, the in-game currency.

This year's event, held under the slogan 'Good things come to those who wait (for the chicken),' will be larger in scale than last year. A variety of programs reflecting the unique characteristics of 'Battlegrounds' will be available to welcome visitors.

The event will kick off at the University of Seoul from May 19 to 20, followed by Yonsei University's Sinchon Campus from May 28 to 29. The venues will feature experiential booths utilizing 'Battlegrounds' and Kakao Friends IP, along with mission events open to everyone.

Visitors who verify that they follow the Kakao Games PC KakaoTalk channel will receive a 'Choonsik sun visor.' Three main missions will be available: 'Reflex Farming,' 'Aim Dodge,' and 'Blue Zone Escape.' Completing one mission earns basic merchandise such as removable stickers and fans, while completing two missions provides a box of chicken and a bonus prize raffle ticket. Participants who complete all three missions will receive a scratch-off coupon for one of three items: a slogan towel, a steel keychain, or a gym sack.

Additionally, visitors who leave a message on the cheering board will receive 'Chiikawa x Kakao Friends' memo pads, and those who verify their 'Battlegrounds' account will receive a 500 G-Coin coupon (valid for 30 days). Those who receive a chicken box will also have a chance to win random prizes, including a BenQ wireless mouse and PUBG x 'Kakao Friends' collaboration merchandise.

In addition to the on-site event, Kakao Games plans to continue its online and offline communication with users by releasing event highlight videos and related content through its major social media channels.
