The INDIE Live Expo Executive Committee has unveiled details and a partial list of titles for the upcoming 'INDIE Live Expo April 25, 2026,' scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026.
INDIE Live Expo is Asia's largest indie game showcase, themed around 'contributing to games.' The event is broadcast simultaneously worldwide in Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean, and has accumulated over 100 million views to date. More than 3,100 titles have been featured across its broadcasts so far.
The event accepts submissions through an open call for each broadcast. This year, the number of submissions surpassed 1,000 for the first time, with approximately 1,100 entries received. The broadcast will feature around 200 carefully selected titles from these submissions.
The event's signature segment, 'INDIE Waves,' which presents a rapid-fire series of 15-second trailers for new indie games, will also be expanded. While previous broadcasts featured about 100 titles per event, this edition will showcase approximately 160.

Furthermore, with the support of Cygames, a long-time sponsor of the event, this year's 'INDIE Waves' will be rebranded as 'INDIE Waves powered by Cygames.
Cygames stated, "To all the viewers of INDIE Live Expo, this is Cygames. We are honored to sponsor this event, where the charm and passion of indie games converge. We hope this event fosters new ideas, works, and connections that lead to the growth of game culture and the industry as a whole, and we will continue to support all of you in your challenges."
The 'INDIE Spotlight' segment, which covers world-premiere titles and the latest information on highly anticipated games, will also have an extended runtime. Featured titles include '.45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND,' the latest work from Sukeban Games (creators of 'VA-11 HALL-A'); 'moorestech,' a Japanese automation simulation game developed by an individual over five years; and 'Lawless Ship,' an interstellar sandbox game with a unique world combining Chinese fantasy and sci-fi. Several titles will also be revealed for the first time during the broadcast.
The hosts for each language broadcast have also been confirmed. Game caster Taiga Kishi will return to host the Japanese version, joined by familiar INDIE Live Expo faces WaiWai, Yami-en, and Novaman as guests. The English broadcast will be hosted by J-mon and HighGai, the Chinese broadcast by bluecube and Mr. Indie-Lizard, and the Korean broadcast will feature streamer Yeokka as a new host.
