Escape from Tarkov’s long-awaited 1.0 release is almost here. Battlestate Games announced that the extraction shooter will officially launch on Nov. 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. GMT / 6 a.m. EST, marking the end of a decade of development and eight years in Early Access.

Ahead of launch, the studio will begin installing Patch 1.0 on Nov. 14 at the same time. The process is expected to take roughly 24 hours, during which the game will be offline. Battlestate Games also confirmed that EFT: Arena will receive Patch 0.4.05 on the same schedule. The company’s websites and account services will be offline for several hours during the rollout.

Both updates will bring account resets. Escape from Tarkov will issue a full wipe for all PvP profiles, while PvE players may choose a voluntary wipe through the game’s profile page to access the new story questline. EFT: Arena will conduct a partial profile wipe as part of its update.

Patch 1.0 installation begins November 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM GMT / 06:00 AM EST

The game has seen strong momentum leading up to release. Within its first two months on Steam, Escape from Tarkov accumulated more than 1 million wishlists and now supports over 20 languages. Battlestate Games is offering a 25% discount on all editions for Steam pre-orders until the moment of launch. After release, the game will remain discounted at 15% for a limited period.

Additional promotions will run on the official website from Nov. 15–29, including 30% off The Unheard Edition and 10% off other editions. Players who participated in the beta or placed pre-orders will receive permanent in-game rewards upon release. These bonuses will not be wiped during future resets.

Battlestate Games will host a release episode of Tarkov TV on Nov. 15 at 8 a.m. GMT / 3 a.m. EST. Studio head Nikita Buyanov is expected to discuss the launch, ongoing preparations, and the future direction of the game.

Following the broadcast, Escape from Tarkov will launch a Twitch Drops campaign running from Nov. 15 at 11:30 a.m. GMT / 6:30 a.m. EST through Dec. 6. Viewers will receive guaranteed item drops at set intervals, as well as additional rewards for subscribing to participating streamers. Items earned through the subscription campaign will remain in player inventories even after future wipes.
