Starting on the 18th, Nexon will officially open MAPLE AGIT, a permanent MapleStory IP-themed PC bang, expanding its touchpoints with the broader public. Built out across roughly 200 pyeong with 177 seats, Maple Agit is the second permanent flagship space for the MapleStory IP, following last year’s “Cafe MapleStory” in Jeju. In addition to the PC bang itself, there’s an on-site merch store selling keyboards, headsets, desk mats, and more.
Situated on the first floor of a building directly in front of Exit 4 of Gangnam Station—an area with extremely heavy foot traffic—the venue is expected to draw plenty of eyeballs. Nexon says Maple Agit is being developed both as a space for MapleStory players and, more broadly, as an offline community hub for all gamers—a place that solidifies the power of the MapleStory IP that has been loved for 22 years.

Before the hands-on PC bang tour began, Head of Business Lee Dong-yeol offered an overview of the Maple Agit project. “First off, we’re not here for a quick two-month pop-up and done,” he joked, making clear this isn’t an impulsive, short-term play. “This is a business we started with long-term operation in mind, so we chose Seoul first for its high walk-in potential. After reviewing Hongdae, Seongsu, Jamsil, and Gangnam, we decided on Gangnam thanks to its accessibility, which led us to set up Agit at Exit 4 of Gangnam Station.”
Lee added a detail that makes Maple Agit stand out: “You don’t see many PC bangs on the first floor.” He continued, “Most PC bangs are in basements or on the 2nd–3rd floors, but Agit is on the ground level, so it should offer a fresh, pleasant experience for gamers.”

He also introduced the project partners: SuperPlay and Samsung. SuperPlay brings experience operating flagship PC bangs such as T1 BASE CAMP and Gen.G’s GGX, and “through the partnership, we expect smooth, comfortable operations.” Samsung, meanwhile, is sponsoring monitors. “Thanks to our partnership with Samsung, we’re pleased to offer a lineup of 4K OLED displays that you rarely encounter in ordinary PC bangs,” he said.
Emphasizing F&B as well, Lee concluded the briefing by saying, “We hope food and beverages can deliver the MapleStory IP in a way that feels friendly—and delicious.”

Inside, we checked the monitors and PC specs firsthand. Everything looked ready for MapleStory and a wide range of other titles. With Samsung’s sponsorship, the monitors span an OLED lineup that’s rare for typical PC bangs—Odyssey OLED G5, G6, G7, and G8. For PCs, standard seats are equipped with RTX 5070, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and AMD 7500F. Premium rooms and team rooms are fitted with RTX 5070, 32GB RAM, and AMD 9800X3D.
Food is a PC bang essential. It’s common these days to “just eat at the PC bang,” and, true to Lee’s comments, Maple Agit offers a full MapleStory-themed F&B lineup. Main dishes include “Nemi’s Lunchbox,” “Kkil-kkil Fried Rice,” “Gallina Tomato Dakgangjeong,” “Gallus Garlic Dakgangjeong,” and “Boo-hoo Fried Sundae (fried Korean blood sausage).” Drinks include “Pink Bean Strawberry Latte,” “Slime Green Grape Ade,” “Orange Mushroom Grapefruit-Orange Ade,” “Yeti Plain Yogurt Smoothie,” “Spirit of the Rock Pistachio Smoothie,” and the house special “Agit Elixir.”

To mark its opening, Maple Agit will hold a “Special Open” event from October 18 to November 2. Visitors who reserve in advance will see a lineup of popular creators—including Pangiyo, Segeulja, Gamst, Mingyo, and Tayo—take shifts as PC-bang staff, directly running the space and interacting with guests. Each creator is preparing events that showcase their personal style, engaging with visitors and sharing the on-site atmosphere via live broadcasts.
A Nexon representative said the “Special Open” aims to realize social value together with users, creators, and the game company. During the event period, all proceeds from ticket and F&B sales at Maple Agit—plus an amount calculated from the aggregate view counts of the on-site live streams—will be donated in full in the name of MapleStory players to Seoul National University Hospital’s Nexon Children’s Integrated Care Center (Dotori House). Nexon explained that, beyond a simple launch event, the goal is to complete “Special Open” as a meaningful festival created by the entire MapleStory community together.
