
Nongshim RedForce locked in the final playoff berth in VCT Pacific Stage 2 with a 2–0 sweep over Gen.G, completing a clean sweep for all four Korean teams in the postseason.
The Week 4 matches, held Aug. 8–11 at SOOP Coliseum in Seoul, saw Nongshim overcome Alpha Group’s top seed Gen.G to claim second place in the group standings. Lotus ended 13–9 in Nongshim’s favor behind standout performances from Yang "Persia" Zi-on and Lee “Dambi” Hyuk-kyu. On Ascent, Gen.G forced overtime, but Goo “Rb” Sang-min’s clutch Viper plays secured the win in two extra rounds. With the upset, DRX moved into first place in Alpha Group. The following day, DRX swept Global Esports 2–0, finishing with a 4–1 record and earning a direct berth into Playoffs Round 2.

VCT Pacific Stage 2 — Week 4 Summary
In Omega Group, playoff teams had already been decided, but final seeding remained in play. T1 defeated DetonatioN FocusMe 2–0 on Aug. 10 to clinch third place and an Upper Bracket Round 1 start.

On Sunset, T1 led 9–3 at halftime and closed out a 13–6 win, with Ham “iZu” Woo-Joo limiting DetonatioN star Ibuki "Meiy" Seki’s impact. T1 then secured Ascent 13–9 through coordinated team play.Omega’s final standings produced a three-way tie between Talon Esports, T1, and DetonatioN FocusMe at 3–2. Per tiebreak rules, Talon took second, T1 third, and DetonatioN fourth.

The VCT Pacific Stage 2 Playoffs begin Aug. 13. Group winners DRX and Paper Rex receive byes into Round 2, while fourth-place finishers start in the Lower Bracket. Second-place teams will face the opposite group’s third-place teams in Upper Bracket Round 1. VALORANT Esports, organized by Riot Games, features four international leagues and a global competition structure culminating in the Champions tournament.
