Level Infinite and SHIFT UP announced on the 29th that they successfully held the global “DoroFamily Summer Tour” event to celebrate the summer season in Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

Held across five major cities—Seoul, New York, Osaka, Taipei, and Bangkok—the tour was a distinctive global campaign centered around “Dororong,” a fan-created meme that has become a globally recognized symbol within the Nikke community. Tied into this event, Nikke also rolled out its summer update, introducing a limited-time summer pickup character based on Dorothy, the original inspiration behind Dororong.

Starting on July 22, a massive 9-meter-tall Dororong balloon was installed at the Jamsil Hangang Pier in Seoul. In the U.S., an equally oversized Dororong made a surprise appearance on the Hudson River in New York. On July 19, Osaka hosted a Dororong balloon parade along the Dotonbori River. In Taipei, a towering Dororong was stationed in front of the Syntrend Creative Park Plaza, while in Bangkok, over 2,000 visitors were drawn in by a wide range of interactive programs, limited-edition merchandise, and food stalls.

Crowds of players turned out to experience the Dororong-themed festivities and Nikke events firsthand, participating in photo ops, dance challenges, and more. A representative from Level Infinite noted that the global campaign was designed to send Dororong—an icon long beloved by the community—to some of the world’s most recognizable landmarks as a way of honoring both content creators and the players who’ve supported the game throughout its journey.
